The Director of I&S is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and execution of low-voltage and information/security infrastructure projects across multiple states. This role provides senior-level oversight of managers, field teams, and project delivery while ensuring alignment with AT-NET standards, financial objectives, and client expectations.
The Director of I&S reports directly to the President and serves as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for scaling operations, developing talent, and maintaining consistent quality across all I&S initiatives.
Additional job responsibilities include:
- Provide weekly, monthly and project reports as needed.
- Keep all online documentation current and highly organized.
- Pulling cable.
- Mounting TVs and Cameras.
- Installing and testing door access controls.
- Drive engineering design quality and execution.
- Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
- Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
- Pass tests as needed and required.
- Lead the I&S Team on daily schedule.
- Meet with customers.
Knowledge:
All staff members should have a proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, including and not limited to Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. They should also have an extensive knowledge of the IT industry and commonly used products.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom, low-voltage, or structured cabling environments
- 2–3+ years of management or senior leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Copper and fiber-optic cabling systems
- Camera / video surveillance platforms
- Access control systems
- Multi-site low-voltage infrastructure projects
- Active Low Voltage License (required)
- RCDD certification preferred
Working Conditions:
The position will be primarily in an office environment. You will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries and clients. Periodic weekend or evening work may also be expected. All employees will be required to attend meetings as needed and report back to those as necessary. Willingness and ability to travel throughout SC, GA, NC, FL, and TN
