This role focuses on improving internal operations, enhancing cybersecurity workflows, streamlining managed services delivery, and helping customers leverage automation technologies securely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and systems knowledge with practical automation experience and a passion for operational efficiency.
This is NOT a traditional software developer role. We are seeking a systems-oriented engineer capable of integrating technologies, automating workflows, improving operational outcomes, and developing scalable automation processes for managed services environments.

- Develop and maintain automation workflows for managed IT and cybersecurity operations
- Build scripting solutions using PowerShell, Python, APIs, and automation platforms
- Integrate business systems, cloud services, monitoring tools, and security platforms
- Automate ticketing systems, alerting systems, reporting, onboarding, offboarding, and remediation workflows
- Assist with AI-assisted operational workflows and process optimization initiatives
- Develop automation around Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, and security platforms
- Improve efficiency of recurring operational and support tasks
- Create operational dashboards, reporting systems, and workflow improvements
- Assist with automation related to cybersecurity compliance frameworks including CMMC and NIST 800-171
- Support automation initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity services
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation and process standards
- Research emerging technologies and recommend practical operational improvements
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or scripting platforms
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Familiarity with automation tools and workflow platforms
- Experience working with MSP or MSSP environments strongly preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Experience with RMM, PSA, SIEM, SOC, or monitoring platforms preferred
- Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools and automation technologies preferred
